At SpinLab, we believe that table tennis is more than just a sport; it is a catalyst for change. Our founder, Murhad Hussain, has played table tennis throughout his life and has experienced firsthand how sports can transform lives. Now, as part of the prestigious IOC Young Leaders Programme, one of only 25 participants globally and the second person from the UK, he is dedicated to bringing these opportunities to Aberdeen.

 

Our mission is to establish a unique, full-time table tennis facility in the UK that combines world-class coaching with open club sessions, and inclusive classes for children, adults, and seniors, as well as a small gym area. We are not merely building a club; we are creating a community hub that aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our focus is on tackling poverty, reducing inequalities, promoting good health, and supporting sustainable cities.
